Dr. Mumm grew up in Colorado before moving to the midwest for college. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Drake University and then went on to the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Before starting at Blaine Family in September of 2024, Dr. Mumm enjoyed a varied career in general practice, in-home end-of-life services, preventative medicine and as an industry veterinarian supporting veterinary teams across the country. It is this dynamic nature of veterinary medicine that she enjoys the most--there is always more to learn while being surrounded by a passionate & supportive community. In addition to working for Blaine Family on a part-time basis, Dr. Mumm now also has her own in-home end-of-life service.
When Dr. Mumm is out of the office, she enjoys walking, hiking, yoga, exploring the Twin Cities (restaurants, breweries, live music & events) and traveling. She shares her home with one large bundle of love, her orange tabby Hershel!
